Regardless of the option you select, Backup as a Service is offered on simple per GB per month cost model, so you only ever pay for what you use.

Physical server backup

Adapt backs up your physical servers, catering for a vast array of operating systems and hardware platforms. The software has multiple agents for the intelligent backup of application software including Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint and Oracle Databases.

Virtual server backup

We back up virtual servers using award-winning Veeam software. With full support for Microsoft VSS enabling total application backup compatibility, there is no need for an additional agent installed within the virtual server. Restore times take only minutes for a complete virtual server and stored data sizes are compatible with other leading backup software.

Remote office backup

We back up remote offices with an Adapt managed vault, held on your premises and containing one week’s data. Any changes are copied daily to Adapt’s primary vault and retained for up to seven years; additional copies are created at tertiary locations for added resilience. The solution provides LAN speed backup and restore capability with the resilience of an off-site copy.

Adapt backs up any combination of physical and virtual servers, developing a backup strategy designed to meet your businesses recovery point objectives (RPO) and recovery time objectives (RTO). This can include application log backups every 15 minutes if required, in addition to the more usual daily, weekly and monthly tasks associated with data protection. Adapt stores your backup data in at least two separate data centres to ensure there can be no loss of the storage vault and as with any Adapt Managed Service, all aspects of backup and restore are monitored 24/7 by the Service Operations Centre.

Backup as a Service integrates perfectly with our disaster recovery cloud solutions. Data can be restored to alternative Adapt data centre locations and can be used to power bare-metal or virtual recovery scenarios.
