Earls Court 2, London
Cloud Expo Europe is the compelling “how to” event for organisations seeking to plot a course towards delivering effective cloud and virtualisation strategies on time and on budget.

Adapt today announced that its enterprise Virtual Data Centre (eVDC) service has achieved VMware vCloud Powered status, illustrating to customers that the company’s cloud services are under-pinned by VMware’s leading virtualisation and cloud computing technology, namely VMware vSphere® and VMware vCloud Director™. A member of the VMware Service Provider Program (VSPP), Adapt provides its eVDC VMware vCloud Powered service as a set of cloud computing services across a common platform, supporting the largest set of existing applications and offering distinctive application mobility uniquely available from VMware.
“We are delighted that our eVDC service has achieved VMware vCloud Powered status,” said Simon Fisk, Sales & Marketing Director at Adapt. “This demonstrates our commitment to providing our customers with the very highest standards of service, taking advantage of cutting edge technology and working with pioneering providers. We’re confident that our partnership with VMware will continue to enable us to deliver market-leading services at affordable prices.”
“The VMware vCloud Powered program was developed to enable our service provider partners to differentiate themselves and help them bring their enterprise-class cloud services to market in this competitive landscape,“ said Gavin Jackson, Director, vCloud & Service Providers, EMEA , VMware. “We look forward to supporting Adapt further as it delivers on the agility and performance customers are looking for in the cloud computing landscape.”
Customers of Adapt have the ability to move workloads from their VMware vSphere-based virtualised or private cloud environment to the VMware vCloud Powered service and back again. This application portability is a key differentiator allowing customers to achieve the flexibility and security they need while enabling increased IT agility.
Adapt sought VMware vCloud Powered validation in order to demonstrate to the market that it has a solution that can provide workload portability, as well as to signal its commitment to the VMware Service Provider Program. As a validated provider, Adapt can now provide users with enhanced responsiveness and agility and reduced IT costs through increased consolidation, task automation and simplified management. The service, available now, uniquely offers customers high performance levels to reduce cost, complexity and risk for customers.
