adapt's London M25 Periphery facility is based at Sentrum's state-of-the-art data centre in Woking

The first data centre to offer fully bespoke solutions. With dedicated plant for every data suite,all of the equipment can be maintained without any intrusion or impact to the running of the suite, enabling customers to maximise the usage of the technical space.

Sentrum is a high power and cooling density facility ideal for disaster recovery & SAN to SAN replication. Directly connected to the adapt core London City & London Docklands data centres.

Connectivity

Data Centre connectivity is available through multiple networks and service providers for network resilience. adapt offers a broad range of choice and flexibility in connectivity, along with inter-site connectivity.

With adapt's inter site data centre connectivity, you can benefit from the diversely routed fibre network connecting our 5 core data centres, providing:

  • Fibre channel (for synchronous real time replication or A-synchronous replication)

Rapid deployment and provisioning

Colocating your servers within an adapt data centre gives you the added benefits of the managed data network interconnecting data centres, and what's more rapid provisioning of service as turning up bandwidth only requires local patching.


Space and power options

adapt will help you to build the appropriate environment for servers and IT infrastructure to be located within the data centre. All adaptdesigned facilities are warranted and verified by independent technical architects.

Cooling

  • Room air conditioning units are external to the suite

  • Primary cooling infrastructure, centrally managed and linked to Building Management System (BMS)

Fire Detection and Suppression

  • Three stage fire detection systems in all plant areas - Novak suppression
  • VESDA (very early smoke detection apparatus)
  • Fire detection in all rooms, below raised floors and in ceiling voids
  • Double interlocked pre-action gas suppression to technical areas
  • Fire detection and suppression systems interconnected to central BMS

Security

  • 24x7 on-site security - Sentrum employed (no contractors)
  • Door access controls at site and building entrances
  • Proximity cards to authorize access levels
  • Mantrap access to all client areas with biometric readers
  • External and internal CCTV
  • Intruder detection alarms
  • Double 3 metres secure perimeter fence with trembler wire
