Ethernet networks
Our Ethernet service enables you to connect multiple sites to a central hub or data centre by utilising the significant bandwidth potential, high performance and security of Ethernet in the WAN. With access options ranging from 10Mbps to 10Gbps, our Ethernet VPN, for example, provides with high performance Layer 2 connectivity, all with the extra flexibility of scalable and burstable bandwidth more typically associated to Layer 3 networks.
We’ve chosen to build our own and our customers’ networks on underlying physical network components supplied by specially selected third party asset-based carrier suppliers. Carrier technologies such as Ethernet over MPLS (EoMPLS) permit more efficient use of network bandwidth without adversely affecting security or network performance. Our Ethernet VPN capitalises on this investment and allows you to benefit from improved operational efficiencies by accessing more bandwidth at lower cost. Further benefits accrue because we provide secure VLANs, that enable multiple services to be presented over a single Ethernet access system, further reducing your required investment.
MPLS
At the heart of our managed networks offering is our carrier-class, MPLS-enabled data transport network that is based on high capacity fibre-optic layer 1 and 2 technologies we have strategically deployed across key national and international markets. Our service delivery platform enables us to interconnect with and make use of the existing assets and physical infrastructure investment made by traditional communications carriers. However, we retain control and ownership of the most fundamental part of the network where its functionality, resilience and bandwidth control resides.
IP-VPN
Our IP-VPN services are individually designed to meet your specific requirements.
