adapt's Remote Hands support is designed to ensure that our colocation clients have
technical resources available for physical moves, adds or changes around the clock.
Available as either a scheduled or on-demand service with service level commitments, Remote Hands gives you the
peace of mind that any situations requiring on-site attendance are appropriately catered for.
adapt's Approach
adapt's Remote hands services may be scheduled or provided on an on-demand basis in order to cater appropriately
for your business needs. Whilst adapt is able to provide bespoke remote hands and technical assistance, the following
are typical example tasks for our Remote Hands services:
- Pushing a button, toggling a switch or power cycling equipment
- Providing visual verification (remote eyes) to assist remote troubleshooting efforts
- Relaying equipment status and typing simple commands on a pre-installed console
- Plug in a console port for remote customer management
- Wiring services such as moving, securing, or terminating cables
- Installing and replacing equipment components that are highly modular in design
- Swapping pre-labeled, pre-ejected, removable media (tapes, CDs, DVDs, etc.)
- Labeling equipment or taking digital photos
- Diagnostic and signal testing for cross connection circuits (T-1/ E1, DS-3, Ethernet OC-3/ STM1, Fibre etc.)
